What we're looking for: We are seeking a talented professional responsible for managing and executing corporate sales for RSNA. The Sponsorship Sales Manager: Corporate Relations will develop, implement and execute sales strategies for sponsorship and advertising opportunities.

What you'll do:
Sell sponsorship and advertising opportunities to target accounts and first time exhibitors. Involves selling sponsored education, digital sponsorships and many other opportunities across the RSNA annual meeting, RSNA publications, live events and other opportunities. Focus on securing new clients, account management, client retention and year-over-year growth from each account.
Actively prospect and consistently close sales, including but not limited to identification of target companies and influencers/decision makers; develop company profiles; cold calling; nurture relationships; and research complementary business markets to add to the prospect database.
Institute a consultative sales approach. Hold regular calls to develop rapport and gain a clear understanding of clients’ business goals in order to present appropriate options.
Provide a high level of account management and customer service to all clients to strengthen the client relationship and ensure retention.
Develop yearly sales plan, with guidance, including industry research, customer profiles, communications plans and sales goals.
Manage sales cycle for target sponsor prospects. Prepare formal client proposals and presentations. Work with Senior Manager, Corporate Services to produce sponsorship fulfillment reports to demonstrate ROI to ensure retention and leverage sales of additional opportunities.
Track sponsorship and advertising sales efforts by documenting status of pending proposals and detailed notes from client conversations into CRM database. Generate activity and forecasting reports.
Serve as liaison with Marketing department for the sponsorship sales team and work with Marketing on development of materials related to sponsorship and advertising sales.
Collaborate regularly with internal colleagues and outside vendors to coordinate corporate sales efforts and ensure that clients receive the best possible level of service.
Monitor the sponsorship and advertising activities of competitive meetings, publishers and media in the medical and imaging field to identify new opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.
Support execution of annual meeting sponsorships in the fall in coordination with members of the Corporate Relations team and key vendors and internal stakeholders.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
3-5 years' related sales experience
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to effectively interact and maintain a professional attitude with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service at all times.
Strong ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task with accuracy and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
Keeps abreast of industry standards and trends
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, CMS, and other programs
