The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, is seeking a full-time Manager, DPG Relations. In this flexible, remote position, you will facilitate the operations of the Academy’s Dietetic Practice Groups (DPGs), guiding key projects, fostering collaboration, and ensuring organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership: Oversee and facilitate a variety of projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and meet legal, financial, and procedural standards. Manage everything from budgeting and planning to auditing and membership communications.
Facilitating Critical Conversations: Serve as the central point of communication between volunteer leadership and Academy staff fostering constructive dialogue and collaboration through virtual meetings, emails, and in-person events.
Conflict and Change Management: Identify potential areas of conflict within project teams and facilitate resolutions through mediation and thoughtful leadership. Lead efforts to manage change, ensuring a smooth transition during policy updates, program changes, and strategic shifts.
Strategic Advisory: Provide guidance and insight on program policies, processes, and goals. Work closely with the DPG Relations Team to ensure that DPGs are aligned with the Academy’s strategic priorities.
Cross-functional Engagement: Work closely with internal teams to align programs and projects with organizational strategies and ensure the successful execution of key initiatives.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
3-5 years of experience in project management, conflict resolution, or change management. Experience with non-profit organizations, associations, or volunteer groups is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and facilitate crucial conversations and resolve conflicts.
Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
