The Director of Partner Relationships ensures that our members and partners stay connected to TASBO and to the profession. We are seeking someone who has a passion for public education and a desire to build relationships.
The Director of Partner Relationships manages the Association's Corporate Partnership Program. The Director also oversees the Association's exhibit shows connected to the Annual, Summer, and Operations Conferences. Approximately, 40% of the exhibitors surveyed from the previous annual conference report that they are more satisfied with their experiences at TASBO than at other shows they attend. Simply put, our members, sponsors and our exhibitor partners truly value and respect each other.

The Primary Duties of this position include -
Manage the Association’s Corporate Partnership Program including strategy development, sales and servicing of Strategic and Annual Partnerships.
Develop and administer unique Strategic and Annual partnership agreements for vendor partners that best meet the needs of the Association.
Monitor the implementation of Strategic and Annual Sponsor benefits to ensure long-term success and contract renewal.
Develop opportunities for partner visibility by Association members and non-members through face-to-face training and networking events, print and electronic media.
Solicit advertising revenue for the Association via its various media platforms for the Association’s print magazine.
Develop Exhibitor floorplans for Conference(s) ensuring maximum revenue opportunity for the Association while providing vendor partners alternatives for Exhibit space and recognition.
Manage the Exhibit sales for the Association’s Annual Conference, Summer, and Maintenance and Operations Conferences.
Serve as the Exhibit Hall Manager during Conference events ensuring that Exhibitors adhere to the Association and Convention Center guidelines for participation.
This position will travel to Annual, Summer and Operations Conference and other events as requested.
TASBO believes in Professional Development. This position is a member of TSAE, ASAE and IAEE and will attend TSAE training events and will also attend at least one international conference per year. Pursuing the CAE certification is highly encouraged!
TASBO Offices are open, and staff reports Monday - Thursday. Friday is a designated work from home day. During the summer months, we work four-day work weeks, one of which will be from home.
TASBO recognizes most school holidays including a two-week Winter Break. In addition, we offer an additional 15 vacation days a year which may be taken at your discretion.
Five years previous experience in similar role is required. CAE or CMP certification and previous experience in an Association or non-profit is a plus, as is, experience with Higher Logic, iMIS and Exhibitor Software (current platform is A2Z).
