Who we are looking for:
Conquer Cancer®, the ASCO Foundation is in search of a highly-motivated and exceptional Program Impact and Evaluation Specialist to be responsible for the development and implementation of Conquer Cancer program evaluation and data analytics activities for donor funded programs, projects, and fundraising priorities. The role will lead all phases of the evaluation process, including program definition, planning, implementation, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of findings.

This position is based in Alexandria, VA although remote candidates are welcome.
What you will do:
Collaborates with Conquer Cancer and ASCO program officers to document objectives, measure key performance indicators (KPIs) and expected impact, and related reporting needs for donors.
Serves as staff liaison to the Conquer Cancer Evaluation Committee (schedule, plan, and work with Chair to facilitate activities)
Develops policies and procedures used in conducting Conquer Cancer evaluation activities.
Collaborates with multi-disciplinary stakeholders and the Conquer Cancer Evaluation Committee to prioritize evaluation activities and implement individual program evaluation plans.
Designs, develops, and oversees the administration of data collection instruments, focus groups and interviews; create or amend existing tools to better align with desired program outcomes.
Analyzes data and identifies insights to be used in donor reports, impact reports, and stewardship materials working with development services, Marcom, and Business Operations & Compliance teams
Designs and develops comprehensive program reports as necessary (e.g. Mission Endowment, EDI, etc.), summarizing the totality of the organization's data across all existing metrics.
Creates dashboards and outcomes reports that demonstrate progress toward goals and disseminates program reports to multi-level stakeholders using appropriate channels.
What you will need in order to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
4 – 6 years of experience in program evaluation with data analytics and visualization
Experience collecting, managing, and using data to evaluate project impact
Experience designing and managing evaluations and generating and disseminating evaluation findings and recommendations
Strong project management skills
Strong technical writing and reporting communications skills, including creative presentation of information and use of data visualizations such as infographics
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and work with team members in varying levels within the organization
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to find inconsistencies and errors
Communication skills including written, reading, and reviewing skills
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
Positive and proactive with proven ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
Demonstrated ability to identify problems, analyze information, evaluate results, and solve problems using the most effective solutions
Ideal Candidates will also contribute:
Design and execution of comprehensive program reports, including using appropriate software and technology.
Experience working with data visualization software., Salesforce Analytics Cloud, Tableau, and/or Microsoft PowerBI, including generating dashboards and managing user roles and profiles
Fast-paced office environment with extended periods seated or standing at a desk.
High use of computer and other office technology equipment.
