The Mercedes-Benz Club of America (MBCA) is a not-for-profit organization and is seeking an Executive Director. MBCA is an inclusive, contemporary, quality organization representing 20,000+ members who join together for fun and share their expertise about the Mercedes-Benz brand. It is the world’s largest Mercedes-Benz enthusiast community. Members come from every demographic and diverse background, and share the enjoyment of Mercedes-Benz automobiles from “classic” to current and future. MBCA is part of a worldwide community of Mercedes-Benz authorized enthusiast clubs. By providing a comprehensive array of member benefits and both local and national events, the club enhances the Mercedes-Benz ownership experience. MBCA publishes The Star, its award winning enthusiast magazine, six times each year.

The National Business office of the Club is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Executive Director will be responsible for providing overall operational leadership to the organization; working with and maintaining positive relationships with the Board of Directors; preparing, implementing, and adhering to the organization’s annual budget; leading and contributing to the strategic planning process of the organization; and maintaining an active, positive, collaborative relationship with the organization’s key stakeholders.
A take-charge individual with proven ability to effectively lead a business or organization by providing a high level of achievement through teamwork and collaboration of staff and/or volunteers.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organization skills with experience in training and developing staff and/or volunteers
Ability to work with diverse personalities with demonstrated ability to effectively influence executives, staff, board members and stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated ability and experience in the fiscal management of an organization, including budget development, implementation, management, and allocation of capital.
Experience in the effective use of common business computer applications for word processing, database management, accounting, electronic mail, videoconferencing, and both print and social media. MarTech management experience is a plus.
Minimum of ten years of progressive experience in management positions with a minimum of five years of senior leadership responsibilities in either a not-for-profit organization or a for-profit business. Bachelors Degree or higher required. Ability to travel to customers, partners, and events on a limited basis will be required of the candidate, and will be reimbursed.
