What This Job is About:
The Senior Manager, Exhibits and Sponsorship is responsible for exhibit space and sponsorship fulfillment for AMCP’s two national meetings. This position builds relationships with current and potential exhibitors, sponsors, and third-party support vendors, to ensure their needs are met in a professional manner. The role works with the Business Strategies team to ensure the effective fulfillment and management of benefits to sponsors.
More specifically, key responsibilities include:
Create and maintain the exhibit sales platform and sponsorship gallery.
Assign booths, issue invoices, assist with meeting registration and housing, communicate sponsorship benefits and maintain routine correspondence with exhibitors and sponsors.
Manage the on-site logistics for the expo floor (exhibits, product theaters and AMCP Partnering) and all meeting sponsorship activities at both national meetings.
Implement a plan for continuous exhibitor engagement and ensure exhibitors and sponsors understand the AMCP audience and have appropriate messaging.
Manages implementation of the AMCP Partnering program including assisting with registration questions and sales, customer service while onsite at meetings, and tracking and reporting on trends through the platform application.
Work with the Director of Meetings and Conventions to develop budget and sales goals for exhibit revenue items.
Identify prospective exhibitors and conduct outreach (including 1:1 meetings, informational “open houses,” and email campaigns) to build industry relationships.
Work with Business Strategies team to identify new sponsorship and other B&B meeting related opportunities and collaborate on sales approaches to potential clients
Work with Director, Membership Operations & Data Analytics, Technology, and Business Strategies teams to develop and maintain a prospect/sales database and pull reports to help build and support outreach campaigns.
Collaborate with Brand Marketing and Communications team to communicate value proposition of exhibiting and sponsorship at national meetings within corporate opportunity campaigns.
Maintains general knowledge of other AMCP B2B products to help identify cross-selling opportunities and answer questions.
Provides weekly sales reports and forecasts.

Bachelor’s Degree and at least five years’ experience in sponsorship management and exhibits sales; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Demonstrated sales experience in new client generation and ability to close sale over the phone and in person.
Exhibits high level of customer service and identifies ways to improve service levels.
Strong organizational and project management skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
B2B and health care sales experience
Knowledge/experience with Salesforce
CEM (Certification in Exposition Management) or CMP preferred
