National trade association based in Arlington VA seeks self-motivated, detailed oriented team player for entry level position to coordinate projects and provide administrative and program support for the member programs and services. Position combines membership customer service/data entry and meetings support and logistics, including assisting with the organizing, planning, and on-site execution of specific parts of NACDS conferences. Duties include but are not limited to data entry, administrative assistance, financial duties, customer service, meeting preparation and on-site meetings support as needed.

NACDS is currently a hybrid workplace -- work at least two days per week in the office through the summer (one day is a designated department day) and may work remotely remaining days, subject to change at any time.  Remote work must be within a reasonable commuting distance of our Arlington VA office.  Flexibility around core hours.  NACDS requires up to date COVID-19 vaccination as condition of employment (proof of vaccination and booster required before your start date), unless a reasonable accommodation has been requested and granted for a bona fide medical or religious reason.  

Successful candidates will have: experience in associations/meetings/conferences; strong project management skills – organize, coordinate and schedule; advanced technical capabilities, Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook mail merges, database (AMS – Personify a plus); ability to communicate effectively; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; work under direct supervision; ability to travel.
