Position Summary
The Director of Digital Learning Content will be responsible for the development of comprehensive online courses that provide on-demand training utilizing a variety of multimedia formats for the successful operation of PACE organizations. The courses developed will have an expected lifespan of 3-5 years, employ a variety of learning modalities, and offer continuing education credit when applicable. This position will work with PACE subject matter experts, NPA staff and on-line course development partners to plan and develop new courses, evaluate the effectiveness of existing courses, and update course offerings as necessary.

- Develops and manages the creation of online content consistent with NPA branding guidelines.
- Design and write new, or update existing, online content to address established objectives and create or curate content as appropriate, drawing from both internal source material and external content as necessary.
- Develop courses for use within the organization’s designated Learning Management System (LMS) and website.
- Responsible for collaborating closely with the Education Team on a regular basis to ensure that educational content is populated or updated on the LMS/website.
- Engage with PACE subject matter experts and solicit expertise from NPA’s various committees and workgroups on an ongoing basis.
- Prepare components of a course including an overview, syllabus, learning outcomes, course content, proficiency assessments, and interactive activities.
- Oversee project management for courses from inception to completion, including preparing the components of a course (overview, syllabus, learning outcomes, course content, proficiency assessments, interactive activities and course evaluations).
- Engage in routine quality assurance audits and modify content / activities when necessary to ensure exceptional end-user learning experience, course design is adhering to established objectives, and meet deadlines
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to identify and prioritize educational content needs.
- Works as member of the NPA multimedia team to produce multimedia projects.
- Participates in team planning sessions to implement productive solutions to new technology and functional requirements.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends in eLearning instruction, particularly those related to online copyright issues, accessibility, and the use of open educational resources.
- Identify, implement new, and make recommendations concerning innovative learning platforms, tools, and systems, such as a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Communicate progress to and incorporate feedback stakeholders.

Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field required (equivalent experience may be considered), experience with video production a plus; Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational technology, or related field a plus
Experience
- 5+ years of applicable experience in education, instructional design, educational technology, or related field
- Experience with eLearning content creation tools
- Healthcare background a plus
Working Conditions
Small, fast paced team office environment with moderate noise levels. Normal sitting and standing activities for an office environment. Use of phones and computers for extended periods of time. Utilize office equipment and communication technologies for conference calls and teleconference meetings/webinars.
