The Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA) is currently seeking an experienced Member Services Coordinator.  This is a full-time position located in SCSA’s Denver office.  The Member Services Coordinator’s primary functions are to onboard new certified members, facilitate recertification of existing certified persons, and maintain an accurate database of certified persons.  The Member Services Coordinator welcomes and educates new credential holders regarding the availability and use of benefits associated with being credentialed and manages the maintenance of certification and recertification processes.  The Member Services Coordinator revokes persons’ credentials who do not meet maintenance of certification or recertification requirements and updates the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System. The Membership Services Coordinator’s responsibilities include:

• Providing welcome and informational materials to newly certified members and establishing contact via personal phone calls to ensure successful onboarding.
• Providing customer service and answering questions for certified members and candidates.
• Conducting background checks, identifying issues, and reporting associated with membership. Coordinating background checks includes following up with those who have not submitted their background check information, and make sure the correct results are populated in the CRM.
• Coordinating and tracking recertification and membership retention.
• Collecting and verifying continuing education (CE) submissions.
• Communicating with certified, previously certified and expiring certificate persons.
• Some outside sales (attending conferences and marketing at a booth).
• Working with staff to develop and improve informational documents and brochures.

Minimum qualifications include 1-2 years of experience with a professional association/board/or certification body or customer service experience.  Familiarity with association membership or customer services. Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Strong MS Office skills including Word and Excel.
