The Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) is seeking an editorial manager whose primary responsibilities include writing and editing for the association’s publications and website. The ideal candidate must be highly detail-oriented; have a strong background in writing, editing and proofreading; and be able to prioritize multiple projects to meet the needs of our members. The ideal candidate also must manage content and planning for publications. This includes creating an editorial calendar for themed issues of the OSBA Journal magazine and recruiting outside experts to write on specific topics for those issues.

Candidates should have a degree in journalism, communication, public relations or a related field with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Evening and weekend work and travel throughout Ohio is required.
