Dryad is recruiting a Business Operations Manager to oversee the efficient and effective realization of business processes outlined below, in collaboration with our outsourced finance and administration team. This new, permanent position would be a senior member of the organization, assuming administrative leadership for Dryad’s core functions. Dryad is a small and growing non-profit so will be looking for candidates who are flexible and willing to grow with us.
This person would have primary responsibility for ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of Dryad operations. They will have specific responsibility for:
General Administration: With support from our outsourced finance and administration team, oversee the fulfilment of Dryad’s overall administrative obligations in relation to records-keeping, federal and state tax and legal requirements, insurance and benefits, banking, by-laws and more, as needed.
Project Administration: Ensuring that finances and reporting for projects, especially grant-funded, are established and monitored in accordance with their associated statement of work, terms and conditions, and budget.
Contracts & Billing: Overseeing the smooth, routine invoicing of members and partners, in accordance with established agreements; providing support for contract review and execution; liaising with legal advisors as needed; and maintaining high standards for collections.
Member & Partner Relations: Ensuring members and partners are well-supported through the contract and on-boarding process and kept in touch throughout the year, including via our Annual Community Meeting and board election; overseeing the regular maintenance and use of our CRM, Salesforce.
Business Analytics & Reporting: Helping to establish key performance indicators and cost metrics and overseeing regular internal and external reporting.

This is a remote, full-time, salaried exempt position based in the United States. Annual base salary range is $70,000 - 85,000, depending on experience. Dryad offers a competitive benefits package and a fantastic set of co-workers.
