The Education Programs & Services Administrator role with the ASA Education Foundation (ASAEF) works closely with the ASAEF team on a variety of projects and initiatives to support department productivity. Main responsibilities include the maintenance and administration of the support resources of ASA University, including the day-to-day operation of the association’s learning management system, customer enrollment and service, and other ancillary administrative tasks to support team initiatives.
General departmental administrative support
Tracking/maintaining various departmental activities
Assistance with departmental sales/marketing initiatives (e.g. mailings)
Coordination and planning of departmental in-person events (e.g. Trustee meetings)
Customer-facing phone/email coverage for ASA University/ASA members
Learner Administration via LMS
Maintain learner database inside LMS for data integrity
Assist with customer account creation, LMS troubleshooting, course technical support
Execute course enrollment requests
Test and quality control for courses as requested (new & existing content)
Standardize processes and procedures for customer-facing workflows
Collect regular feedback on user experience and make suggestions for workflow improvement
Perform routine cleanup of customer-facing portals such as LMS, website, downloadable resources
Assist in review, testing, and implementation of LMS updates and enhancements
Communicate with training managers to approve training requests via ASA-U
Participate in customer orientation webinars as requested
Manage and maintain education resources on ASA website as they are updated
Input new courses into online store and LMS, maintain associated process documents
Maintain a consistently updated master inventory of course offerings from ASA-U
Research and provide recommendations for 3rd party content based on user needs
Provide ancillary administrative support to all ASAEF Committees, task groups, and team members
Foundation donation tracking & communication to donors
Other duties as assigned by the VP of Education.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
Innovative and energetic self-starter; fast learner with the ability to multi-task.
Attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and high degree in accuracy in task completion.
Able to work independently with some direction.
Professional and friendly manner while supporting ASA team members and the membership at large.
First-rate grammar and writing skills.
Interest/experience in e-Learning and LMS software helpful.
