Degnon Associates seeks a highly-motivated, individual who is eager to learn to fill an administrative assistant position. The individual will support various administrative aspects of not-for-profit organizations with ongoing projects including conference support, meetings, membership services, communications, marketing and digital strategies. Some travel required. This position is mostly remote but some in-office work may be required.
Roles and responsibilities:
Update and maintain databases using membership database
Organize and maintain membership files
Working with committees and members via conference calls, zooms and email
Provide meeting support
Various projects to manage such as awards programs
Perform other duties as assigned
Interest in learning and gaining proficiency in new skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Database knowledge required. Detail oriented, excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills essential and ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have association experience, have been in the workforce 3-5 years, and has a high energy level and expectations for advancement.
