Reporting to the Director of Communications & Engagement, the Marketing/Social Media Coordinator is responsible for implementing marketing strategies using multiple communication platforms/channels including web, email, social media, print and video. This role will support the marketing team and our strategic plan and offer a variety of responsibilities and interaction with the team.

HOW YOU’LL SERVE OUR ORGANIZATION:
Provide copywriting, editing and production management support in the development and execution of promotional campaigns for ACOFP programs and products – including membership, in-person events, awards and online learning – across multiple channels, including email, direct mail, website, social media, print collateral, video, slide decks, etc.
Integrate marketing strategies into the association’s social media channels to support member engagement
Manage social media accounts promoting the ACOFP and its products, sharing meaningful content and driving engagement
Develop and monitor metrics to track effectiveness of marketing efforts (web performance, email, direct email response, participation rates) in meeting revenue and engagement goals
Provide marketing support to the ACOFP Foundation through social media, email and other marketing collateral
Support the Director of Communications & Engagement, as needed, in the development of overall ACOFP marketing strategies and ensure that the ACOFP brand is appropriately reflected throughout all communications
Support assigned special committees, ad hoc workgroups and task forces
Support ACOFP’s knowledge management documentation process by capturing and maintaining related procedures
WHAT WE ASK FOR:
2+ years of progressively responsible marketing experience; including social media experience
Bachelor’s degree required (Communications, Marketing, English or related field)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with our team
Experience implementing portions of a marketing strategy, including experience with Informz, MailChimp, Constant Contact, HighRoad Solutions. Healthcare association experience preferred. Video production exposure preferred
Strong organizational skills as well as a keen attention to detail
Microsoft Office and Association Management System (AMS) experience preferred
Willingness to pitch in and wear many hats in a lean organization; including attendance at our annual conference
