The Senior Manager, Membership & Data Analytics will work collaboratively across the organization with key stakeholders who access our association management ecosystem (AMS, LMS, CRM, meeting tech, etc.) to facilitate our members’ digital journey. This position will also manage projects related to the ongoing development, upgrades, reporting and analytics of these tech systems. In this role, incumbent will use data analytics to identify level of engagement of each of SIIM’s five (5) member segments: Physician/PhD, PACS/RIS Admin & Technologist, Developer/Programmer, Researcher/Scientist/Physicist, and Vendor.
Position reports to Director, Membership and Finance.
Duties and responsibilities
Improve understanding of behavior and engagement for all member types
Monitor and enhance members’ digital engagement journey through data analytics
Support membership recruitment, engagement, and retention
Contribute to annual comprehensive membership strategy
Manage meeting and product registration (setup, reporting, workflow)
Coordinate data governance process across all platforms and ongoing data hygiene
Collaborate with staff in the implementation of the new AMS
Serve as staff liaison to committee/s
Tools and Analytics
Collect, analyze, and synthesize member data and convey through various visualizations relevant information to staff
Review analytics, dashboard views, and analytics architecture for each member segment
Bachelor’s degree in technology related field or a combination of education and experience which demonstrate the necessary skills and abilities for position
Minimum 5-10 years with a) hands-on experience managing technology product/project development supporting an association management system (AMS), preferrable YM
Proven skills in identifying member behavior trends through data analytics
Proficiency in database world, query writing, and experience with a database migration
Ability to communicate and listen well. Ability to write clear and concise instructions for non-technical users.
Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to members and other employees of the organization.
Requires excellent project management as well as organizational and interpersonal skills to work with a variety of people and on multiple projects.
Must be able to travel nationally (1-3 times/year)
