The Director of Account Development is an association sales position that will develop and execute strategic sales and development plans with an objective of expanding IA’s company and corporate department member accounts, with specific focus on sales of memberships, sponsorships, advertising, and certifications.
Responsibilities include:
-Forging strong relationships with existing IA members and constituents -Developing and executing lead gen strategies to bring new customers into IA -Presenting, promoting and selling IA offerings -Developing comprehensive collateral that details IA offerings and pricing -Developing new sponsorship and advertising opportunities -Performing cost benefit and needs analysis of existing and prospective customers -Exceeding budget targets -Coordinating sales/developments efforts with other IA team members/departments -Staying abreast of industry/event trends and adapting accordingly

-Highly motivated and target-drive with a proven track record in sales -Skilled at sales process and mechanics, including selling individual and bundled products and services -Excellent sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills -Ability to develop and deliver presentations/information based on specific customer needs -Sales experience in an association and/or insights industry environment preferred |
