SmithBucklin, a 100 percent employee-owned association management company, is looking for an Accreditation Coordinator to join our Business + Trade Industry Practice in our DC Office. The Accreditation Coordinator will support accreditation operations, volunteer development and management, annual report development and ATCAS management under the direction of the Executive Director and Associate Director of Accreditation.
Work will include supporting other team members to provide stakeholder communication and assist with the peer review process, other CAATE meetings, special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Provide accountant with program listing for site visit invoices
Track invoices and release the self-study to the site visit team once payment is made
Maintain master Peer Reviewer database
Identify opportunities to enhance available resources, and providing assistance to the CAATE, including work on policies, development of accreditation actions, accreditation letters (noncompliance, progress reports), and interim reports.
Work directly with Liaison on the development, testing and maintenance of eAccreditation modules for Self-Studies, Substantive Change, Site Visitor modules, new Standards, and other modifications within the system.
Responsible for eAccreditation tasks such as release of self-studies, Peer Review Team and Review Committee team assignments
In coordination with the Associate Director of Accreditation ensures the master accreditation actions spreadsheet and the accreditation history within individual program accreditation tab via eAccreditation are updated
Assist with updating CAATE resources as necessary including work on policies, development of accreditation actions, accreditation letters (noncompliance, progress reports), and interim reports.
Support Associate Director of Accreditation to work with Liaison International/ATCAS staff to verify eligibility of programs.
Ensure quality of data within Liaison International/ATCAS
Execute eAccreditation data reports using Jaspersoft as requested
Help facilitate the transfer of BOC IDs/scores into eAccreditation following each BOC exam window
Committee Activities and Support:
Support development and updates of Peer Review Materials including:
Peer Reviewer Handbook
Virtual Onsite Review Handbook
Virtual Onsite Review Agreement
Assist Peer Review Committee Chair in coordinating Peer Review Training
Support Peer Review, Review and Education Committee with technological resources including website updates and other online delivery methods for content developed by the Committee
Assist with preparations for CAATE Meetings (Board meetings, Accreditation Conference, NATA)
Marketing and Communications:
Support the Marketing and Communications team with website updates pertinent to committee and meeting activities
Assist with providing relevant content for the CAATE newsletter and other publications as necessary
Responsible to monitor, triage and respond to emails sent to email@example.com email address.
Works under the direction of Associate Director of Accreditation to monitor and review all phases of substantive change requests; reopen requests and monitor resubmission when necessary.
Responsible for eAccreditation tasks, such as managing new program applications and payments, and program factual correction updates
Track payment from programs submitting for a degree change; and opening of degree change module for programs.
Communicate with the Board of Certification for Program Director change requests; new programs granted accreditation; closing dates and program degree level approvals
Responsible for responding to voicemails.

3-5 years of relevant professional experience supporting the accreditation process
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution or equivalent experience
You have a demonstrated history of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to prioritize a heavy workload

You possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
You exhibit a genuine customer service orientation
