The Biomedical Engineering Society is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative, and innovative professional for the role of Communications Manager. The position, reporting to the Managing Director, will be responsible for developing and executing communication and marketing plans and creating and maintaining a dynamic traditional and online presence for the society. With a staff of 9, you will have the opportunity to execute creatively, work on initiatives from strategic to tactical and broaden your knowledge of the exciting field of biomedical engineering. The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) was established in 1968 and has grown to approximately 6,000 members (including over 4,000 student members) and more than 140 student chapters This is an exempt position; salary commiserate with experience. The office is located in Landover, MD. Currently working remotely due to Covid-19. Flexible remote working options will be available but there is expectation to travel at least weekly to physical office in 2021.
