Rent Responsibly is a national network of short-term rental alliance chapters. Through remote chapter support services, hands-on training, and centralized technology, we enable local groups of STR advocates to work together effectively with their policy-makers and communities to create fair rules for STRs in their towns.
The Chapter Manager plays a central role in the effectiveness and ultimate success of Rent Responsibly chapters. During an ordinance process, the Chapter Manager makes it possible for local short-term rental advocates to focus their critical limited hours on the things only they can do: engage with their elected officials, local business allies, and broader communities and fight for a fair ordinance outcome. Outside of an ordinance process, the Chapter Manager leads the development of a chapter toward self sustainability, meaning a robust group with an engaged membership, regular events, and an effective, motivated leadership team.
The Chapter Manager will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the Head of Advocacy and Head of Chapter Success. This is a full-time position expected to start in February.

What It’s Like to Work for Rent ResponsiblyRent Responsibly is a 100% remote team regardless of Covid-19. We collaborate daily through Slack, Zoom, GSuite tools, and Todoist. We don’t measure our days from 9 to 5 but rather through productivity and execution. We are a small but nimble and enthusiastic team, so those who are willing to jump in with both feet on team projects, wear multiple hats, and then switch those hats on the fly will be happiest here. We invest in our teammates’ growth, too, including professional development resources, ample opportunities to take on higher roles as the company grows, and space to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. To Apply:Send an email to our Executive Director at info [at] rentresponsibly.org sharing why your experience, skills and qualities make you a good fit for this role. Please include links to samples of your work when applicable. Please also attach your resume.
