The Tacoma-Pierce County Association of REALTORS® is seeking an Executive Officer for their 2,200+ member Association. The EO works closely with Realtor® volunteers in their capacity of leadership, committee members and the Board of Directors. The EO manages the operations of the Association and executes the objectives of the Board. The EO is responsible for managing staff, implementing the strategic plan, and complying with the policies and programs of the Association.
The ideal candidate has experience managing an annual budget, building relationships with volunteers, as well as the members of the public and has excellent communication skills. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Association leadership role. A Bachelor’s Degree is required; CAE and/or RCE preferred.
Tacoma-Pierce County is located just 30 miles south of Seattle and a 2.5 hours’ drive from Portland Oregon. The area is enveloped by diverse and beautiful nature as well as and energized city life. Tacoma is within a 2-hour drive to scenic ocean beaches, nationally renowned mountains-for both skiing and hiking-the Olympic National Forest and an abundance of lakes. The area offers both exciting urban housing and peaceful acreage living.
