Bostrom’s accounting team provides financial services to multiple clients (not-for-profit associations). We are looking for a Lead Accountant who is excited by the challenge of a multi-client environment and ready to become a leader within this small-but-mighty team!
This role is responsible for performing advanced and specialized accounting assignments, usually involving complex and confidential data. This includes account analysis, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation and review. Provides work leadership and direction to other accountants and staff. Also provides special project assistance to the CFO or Accounting Manager.
Major Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years of accounting experience required.
Collaborative, team player. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills: Express yourself clearly in writing, conversations, and interactions with others.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and thorough.
Technical capacity, including in-depth knowledge of Great Plains and Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and prior experience with database management programs strongly preferred.
