SIOP is seeking a Web Content Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for planning and integrating all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of web applications. The Web Content Specialist is a content curator and editor who standardizes and optimizes SIOP web content. The position reports to the Executive Director.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage updates and ongoing development of the web experience to ensure all the many systems and applications function in concert
Create and maintain flowchart/map that visually represents website content structure
Find, diagnose, and fix content problems, including broken links, typographical errors, removal of outdated information, and formatting inconsistencies
Ensure sound website design and quality practices are followed in web application projects
Identify and shepherd production of text and digital images to add to the web site
Implementing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) practices and maintaining the site for SEO
Conform to and assist with development of style sheet and brand requirements
Coordinate web content with other digital communications, e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn
Prepare periodic web traffic reports using Google Analytics
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related business fields
2+ years of experience developing and implementing web applications
Proven experience with standard internet protocols and software with an ability to lead troubleshooting efforts
Demonstrated Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and SEO practices
Highly proficient with Content Management Systems, as well as Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to manage, prioritize, and meet deadlines for multiple projects and assignments
Strong attention to detail and high regard for quality
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience with Adobe suite for web graphic creation
Some travel required (2-3 times/year)
Regularly required to sit, speak, listen, read, and communicate using such tools as email, phone, video conferencing, digital platforms, printed documents, and other standard office equipment. Occasionally required to stand, walk, kneel, and carry up to 30 pounds. When working onsite at a meeting or event, this position is very active, requiring extensive movement such as standing, walking, bending, lifting, moving materials, kneeling, and speaking for up to 16 hours per day.
