AGC is looking for a Manager of Chapter Support Services to join our team – an individual who is energetic, self-motivated, creative, and customer-service focused. This position will work with the chapter support and member engagement team as well as AGC staff on communicating and delivering AGC’s chapter value proposition. The Manager, Chapter Support Services is responsible for AGC’s chapter membership support efforts as they related to collaborating with chapters to gather and enhance the quantity and quality of AGC member data, marketing AGC’s chapter programs and services and assisting in the development of tools and resources that help chapters be higher performing.
Serves in a front-line customer service role, providing support to AGC’s chapters, members and prospective members.
Manages AGC’s Chapter communications, social media and listservs.
Manages the AGC Chapter Awards programs.
Oversees AGC’s Chapter data collection efforts to include the development and execution of regular surveys and reports.
Provides support for chapter programs and meetings.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2-3 years of association experience – preferably in chapter/component relations, membership and/or marketing.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Experience with electronic communication tools – Higher Logic/Informz experience a plus.
Experience with WordPress a plus.
Working knowledge of association management systems – iMIS a plus.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Team player with cooperative spirit and willingness to juggle multiple projects at one time.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Office 365 experience preferred.
