We are the premier worldwide trade association for the heavy equipment industry, and we are expanding our sales team in order to better serve our membership. Our industry needs us right now more than ever, and we need you to help communicate that.
We need an inside sales rep who has experience in Business-to-Business selling, preferably 3+ years of sales success. You should be adept in Prospecting and helping customers through a sales process. You’ll help new prospective members understand the benefits of AED and why they should join us and participate in our many conventions, educational and networking opportunities, and other ways we help. The good news is that our dues structure makes it nearly a no-brainer decision for them. We offer great training, a loyal base of members to offer referrals and testimonials, the support of management to drive our growth, and an environment that you’ll look forward to being a part of.
Does this sound like you? If so, you should bring:
3 years’ successful Sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment
Understanding of Office programs and CRM
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Excellent prospecting ability and new-client sales
Strong ability to sell via telephone and email
A competitive compensation package including a $50k to $60k salary plus uncapped commission. 1st year earnings potential of $70k.

Independent distributors that sell, rent, and provide aftermarket support for heavy equipment and related equipment and products
Manufacturers of heavy equipment and related equipment and products
Suppliers of business services, including finance, insurance, business systems/ERP and others
AED has many core strengths, but most notably, it’s our ability to speak with one unified voice as an industry. The organization finds success in many ways; mainly, it’s through our ability to maintain excellent relationships with dealer principals and professionals in manufacturing through understanding the challenges that they face in their specific business operations. There are not very many members of AED who are not active in AED. Primarily, that is due to the fact that you can’t fully recognize the value of your membership unless you’re participating in the association, in taking advantage of the programs and services that your dues dollars have gone to support.
