Position Overview The VP, Marketing & Communications reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is a key member of the PCMA operational leadership team. S/he leads the Marketing team and is responsible for the organization’s brand deployment across all audience-facing channels as well as guiding the revenue strategy for PCMA’s events and community businesses. The VP oversees and implements all internal and external marketing/communications activities and performance analytic reporting to ensure on brand positioning and engagement – including brand management, lead generation, content marketing, public relations, partner and channel marketing, creative services, and video content development. Key Accountabilities - Elevate and drive the marketing strategy by bringing new ideas, approaches, tools, etc. to the table
- Define and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to most effectively drive revenue and engagement across the PCMA portfolio
- Develop and execute an integrated marketing plan (advertising; digital marketing; public relations; social media engagement) to drive new customer acquisition and build overall audience engagement and loyalty
- Responsible for channel planning across digital placements, including search and social
- Developing and maintaining analytics as well as sharing insights on the performance of marketing efforts
- Manage outside agency relationships to drive the most effective spend of marketing dollars.
- Oversee measurement and tracking of campaigns, marketing, engagement programs
- Support the sales organization with tools to effectively market
- Build capability to track competitor/category trends/consumer trends and translate them to insights and business building
- Manage a high functioning team
