Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, driven and creative candidate to serve as our marketing and Industry Relations manager for our company and medical specialty client groups. Must have a proven track record and possess excellent interpersonal skills, is energetic, team-oriented with a collaborative work style. Responsibilities include: - Design, implement, and facilitate marketing plans, communications and promotions for marketing membership, meetings and industry relations teams, including online web portal.
- Design inventory of corporate sponsors and advertising opportunities listing available for corporate sponsorship and/or advertising. Design and implement communications of same.
- Participate in and makes presentations regarding sponsorship opportunities
- Prepare proposals, letters of agreement, invoices and follow-up with corporate sponsors
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors
- Identify and solicit educational and/or marketing funding from pharmaceutical and medical device companies to support medical association clients meetings, programs and activities.
- Organize and Participate in industry advisory boards
- Ensure and coordinate appropriate exposure for corporate sponsorships
- Develops and administers marketing database, includes client and prospect information and mailing list applications
- Monitor and Quantify results of marketing plans and efforts.

- Ability to identify, analyze, and capitalize on growth opportunities.
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelors in Communications or Marketing or related area.
- 5+ year’s association fund development experience preferably for medical associations.
- 5+ years of related experience in a complex, customer-service and business-focused organization. Association experience is a plus.
- Experience with new media and internet advertising
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written – client and people friendly
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
- A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Entrepreneurial, self-starter with hands-on approach
- Not required, but the ideal candidate will have an understanding of PhRMA and OIG regulations, ACCME standards for commercial support, the grant review process and the process for accounting for grant expenses
- Ability to Travel (20-30%)
